Tap iTunes & App Store.
Tap your Apple ID at the top.
Tap View Apple ID on the menu that pops up.
Tap Add Funds to Apple ID.
You can select an amount to add. Tap Other to add a custom amount.
I have my credit or debit card information linked to my Apple ID. All I need to do is confirm and the funds will transfer to my Apple ID account to be used for future purchases.
To do this on a Mac:
Open iTunes.
Go to Store. On the right hand sidebar under Music Quick Links, click Account.
Scroll down to Apple ID Account and click Add Funds to Apple ID.
Select the amount of funds you want to add, then click Next. Confirm the transfer.
By adding funds to your Apple ID on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, you can make purchases while keeping an eye on just how much you're spending!
