According to the source, the Huawei Ascend P8 will be powered by the company's own Kirin 930 chipset. It will offer a 5.2-inch full-HD display, encased in a ceramic unibody design. The device will measure 6mm in thickness, and will have double-sided Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It will borrow the dual 8MP rear cameras from the Huawei Honor 6 Plus, and pack in a 2,600mAh battery. The source also suggests it might even get an upgrade to dual 13MP main cameras.
The Huawei Ascend P8 is tipped to be priced at RMB 2,999, approximately Rs 29,500. Rumours suggest that the smartphone could also pack in a fingerprint scanner at the rear.
