Raspberry 2 offers improved power for same low price

Raspberry 2 offers improved power for same low price

Remember the Raspberry Pi mini computers? These are full-fledged computers that can be plugged directly into your TV, essentially turning it into a PC. A new version has just been released, and it’s looking more enticing than ever.
The Raspberry 2 is priced at the same $35 price point that it shares with its predecessor, the Raspberry Pu B+. You get quite an upgrade, though. The new device comes with a 900 MHz quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. This processor offers 6x the performance compared to the past version, while the RAM has been doubled.
In addition, this device is expected to get an upgrade to Windows 10 for free. A specific version of the software will be made for this little device. We should be hearing something about the update in the coming months.
Opinion: This is a great deal for those who want to take advantage of a full-fledged (even if a bit under-powered) PC to hook up with a TV. I mean, come on. It’s only $35!
